Hale is standing firm

Remember when Hale used to do the radio play-by-play for OU baseball? Gawd that was embarrassing.

I hate to defend the guy everyone loves to hate, but Hale's still probably the most connected person out there. I haven't read his reports, but the assuredness of his headlines along with Jay Upchurch's "guaranteed" comment about Capel coming back definitely have me on the fence as to what's going on.

We'd also heard from a source close to the staff when all this broke out Tuesday that they "weren't worried" about the reports and "felt good" about their chances of coming back next year. To me, that kind of meant that Castiglione had given them an indication that they would be back, but hadn't fully decided yet and that's why he wasn't commenting at this point.

I'm absolutely befuddled though as to why Castiglione would keep issuing these no comments if has already decided to keep Capel. I don't care what the spin on the reasoning for why he would wait. If it's decided then speak it and let's all move on.

OMG! Thanks for pointing that out because I would have missed. He absolutely destroyed Hale. Wow. Those two are going to come to blows at some point. :woot

Hale is way over the hill. Listen to his radio show it is god awful. If it weren't for Blobert Allen Hale would be the worst in Oklahoma. Go away James and rob some more Burger Kings.
