I and many other sooner fans were stuck in traffic and missed the first 8-10 minutes of the game. 6 is a terrible start time. Now we get the shaft with a breakfast tip on Saturday. Not to mention our first 5 games are brutal. Thanks big 12.

I don't think any Big XII games should be in the 6:00 time slot. The networks should limit those time slots to Eastern Time Zone teams.

A facebook friend was complaining about all the empty seats at the start and I mentioned historically OU basketball fans have a tough time making 6 pm tip-offs.

1.) sign a network contract to get more national exposure and $$
2.) Have very little program excitement coming into a season(s).

I hate early tips but I think the 11:00 tip could help on Saturday. ISU could start slow and we might be able to jump on them quick. We jumped on Kansas quick last year and is a big reason as to why we won. I have no doubt our team will be ready to play a top 10 opponent. So 11:00 could help us in this case. But, as someone who drives 45 minutes to the games every home game, I hate the early times too.

My dad works in Bricktown and didn't get to the game until 6:30. WIth the construction they're doing to I-35 in Norman, it's a killer to try to get through.

well you must know a better route to go than me. i left at 445 yesterday and barely made by the 14 minute mark in the first half. i left from 63rd and penn.
