My guess would be that the Big XII broadcast pays less than any other conference and since he's the bottom of the barrel, we get him automatically.

He gets all excited about a tip in by Brown and claims he caught it at the top of the white square. They show the replay and he caught it just above the rim with the palm of his hand under the ball (about rim high).

And, who can forget his claim that Pledger should have been called for goaltending. He doesn't just claim it, he's adamant about it. They show the replay and it makes him look like himself...an idiot.
