I think we go 19-10 with four more losses.

Baylor
West Virginia
Texas
Oklahoma State

Does 19-10 or 20-11 get us in the Big Show, probably. We'll end up getting clubbed by UCONN or some other giant in the second round, if we make it that far.

ESPN has us a 5 seed. I don't think we make it that high.

We will beat either Baylor or Texas in Norman. I think we may go 7-11 or, at worst, 6-2.

We are not beating Baylor, period. So, why do you think we can beat Texas?

Such negativity. We could play four quarters at 20-15.

Texas and Baylor had their young freshman star have their best game against us at home. A couple of years ago, Iowa State had their freshman star go off against us and score 29. She hasn't done that since. I think the next game against us she scored zero. You think Holmes and Cox will have the same game in Norman? Texas has fits with us in Norman every year. It is Austin that is close or that they pull out a win. Texas hasn't beaten us in Norman since 2010.

Texas? Quite possibly. You said it, Syb, the Lady Horns don't play well at LNC. If Peyton and Gabbi can neutralize the Texas guards, it will be a good game.

Baylor? Not happening. First of all, Mompremier will be back in the line-up, adding yet ANOTHER quick, tall, aggressive post player to the Lady Bear arsenal to go with Brown, Cave, Davis and Cox. And L. Cox wasn't the winning factor on Sunday, it was Alexis Jones (triple double), and OU has no one who can play with her.

I think OU finishes conference play strong and hopefully performs well in the Big 12 tourney--both enough to impress the committee for a mid-range seed at the Dance. Then it's a new season.

I agree, I also think we beat WVA in Norman

You confuse reality with possibility and wishful thinking. You always do.

That's just one reason many people don't respect you and your opinion on this board (of course many do). You're such a homer and an excuse-maker that when you do post something that is smart, insightful and valuable (which is about 50 percent of the time) people just gloss over it and don't take you seriously.

We kept it close at Baylor for a bit because they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. And when their shots began to fall we fell 30 or more behind.

As to Texas. I think it's possible we beat them, I give us about a 56 percent chance. But if we come out so many times like we have already this year, then...

As to negativity, that's just your fall back complaint about anyone who has a difference of opinion with you. You attempt to denigrate people with different opinions in an effort to get your minions on this board to come to your defense.

I live in the real world. It would take a massive melt-down by Baylor and a performance by us that is so far above what our talent and playing has been for the last couple of years that I would venture to say if you did a statistical analysis of the recent records, we would only have about a 15-20 percent chance of winning.

Now, anything can happen, and I'd take the 15-20 percent and I will certainly be jumping up and down if we win.

But when is the last time "anything can happen" happened to this team? Maybe you can remember. I can't.

I've been talking positively about this team and coaching staff regularly, but I don't overlook their faults and inability, just like I don't overlook mine.

I think you are just off base about us beating Baylor because you hate them and Kim so much you denigrate an 18-year-old girl for her choice of schools.

Im so confused...

We got pounded by Baylor. But we shot 26% you can't beat Kansas if you shoot 26%. Credit Baylor less on that too because we had a lot of open shots. It was one run, in Waco- that put us out the game and it was over. Buts that's all it was, we can play w/ Baylor. This team is growing and some of you are going to eat your words.

Also, next year when Baylor loses Jones, Davis, Prince. UT loses their rim protector in Lang, and all we lose is Peyton. I think we should really win the conference. Would we then be sufficient enough for all the experts here, or what?
