I don't get it!

How does a guy who only scores 7 points, shoots at least three air balls, while giving up 4 turnovers and countless Baylor gifts on defense get 31 minutes in this game?

What are our coaches seeing that most of us are missing in Nick Thompson?!!!
 
Maybe they feel like they should play because they jumped the gun and named him captain?

Who knows...
 
Cade didn't play and Neal was in foul trouble and we have to keep a white guy on the court I guess. LOL

It's a true OU basketball mystery, Ada. Like Spaulding finally showing life in the NCAA tournament.

I have no clue.
 
depth I guess. Barry probably can't go very many minutes. not sure about CJ, he should be getting more time
 
CJ is our best interior defender and would average 10 boards a game if he got 31 minutes. Fact (not really, but maybe).

Always a mystery. Even if Thompson looked like he was getting it in practice, it is easy to see from the 31 minutes on the floor that he's unintentionally undermining a good performance by the other 4 on the floor.

How can that be the case? I know capel knows more than me but I would not have fat out of shape guys on my team. I would make them run and work on conditioning instead of practice. The guys that stay in shape and control what they eat would get to practice and play. The guys that don't can run until they get in shape or quit.

Not many teams have a red headed basketball player, so maybe Jeff keeps thinking the red hair will bring some luck at some point so he wants Thompson on the court so we don't miss the magic moment.

Or maybe he thinks thompsons tattoos look cool when he's running and he wants the audience to see the spectacle so maybe they will forget about the game.

That's all I've got.

His tatoos are as deplorable as his defense. I liked TMG's better and that's saying something!

Maybe they thought that Nick could hit some 3's because Baylor plays a zone all game?
 
Nick Thompson made our team significantly worse every moment he was on the court tonight.
