I don't think we should use any more schollies

LOL Nick, do you really expect us to lose 8 kids in one year again? I said I wouldn't be surprised if we lose one or two. Ala Bobby Maze his first year, Chris Early, Neysmith, Moose his second year, then Kyle Cannon and Juan Pattilo in his third year. That is an average of 2 players a year for his first three years at OU. If we lose two people again I wouldn't be surprised as that is the trend, not the complete roster turnover of this past season.

We already have one young big in that class (Peters), I'd focus on the DFW area for more players and then get the best JUCO big available.

Did Lundy sign anywhere?

Lundy signed on with Ronnie Arrow at South Alabama.

Lundy is a 6-8, 220 forward from Saginaw, Mich. (Arthur Hill HS), currently attends Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kan. and will be entering his junior season of eligibility.

“What we’re able to get with Antione is one of the best rebounders in the country,” said USA head coach Ronnie Arrow. “He’s a physical player that can step out and shoot the 3-point shot. He’s an athlete that will give us the inside strength that we were looking for. With the other young post players we have coming back, he can come in and work with them and develop them as well.”

In 31 games last season Lundy averaged a team-best 18.3 points and 13.7 rebounds per contest and was named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference East Player of the Year and First Team All-Jayhawk. His rebounding average ranked third in the entire nation and he was second in the league in scoring.

Thanks! Guy I would not of minded having in the program.

I would rather take the cautious approach till we get some recruits that stay here regularly.

And the cautious approach is to take even more borderline prospects who based on your beliefs, would leave to even more turnover?

sign to 13. if they all work out, then only having one 'ship in 2011 is no hardship. if some don't pan out, then you've got '11 ships to give.
