Kornet's career, except for sitting on the end of the bench and being an afterthought is over.

With what we have coming in and what we might get, if I were Wyatt, L. Williams, Edwards and Kellog, I would transfer. With the possible exception of Edwards, they are never going to see the floor in serious playing minutes. Nothing but practice players.

We need a little roster room. I'd nudge them out the door, if I were coaching this team. I'd help them all I could. All of them could be playing and getting lots of other minutes at tons of schools. They are great kids, but we need to make as much room as possible to get back to the final 8.

Great team chemistry has always been one of Sherri's teams assets. I'm not sure running players off is good for team chemistry.

With the exception of Edwards, they aren't players. They are bodies. Get some better bodies on the roster. We have shots at a lot of girls. Take the shots.

You must be drinking some of the hard stuff or else your nuts. You don't run off players that contribute in one way or the other. All players realize there are only so many minutes in a game, you practice hard and play hard you will get more. The ladies you mentioned have contributed to the success of this team. You need to be thanking them not suggesting they leave.

L Williams got serious minutes for parts of the season, as a freshman. She's not leaving, and nobody wants her to. Wyatt has had her moments as a shooter, and I doubt she would ever be a star anywhere.

These girls love being Sooners, and I doubt they transfer just to play more at smaller schools.

I'm not suggesting it. I just said if I were them, I would. If they stay, great. I think highly of them all. But if they want to play, it won't be here. Yes, every team needs bodies for practice. They are Sooners and I'm happy about it.

But what if we could pick up a couple this summer or next that were better than we have on the floor now as starters or subs? What if they could become stars somewhere else? Wouldn't everyone be even happier?

This board was pretty quick to slam the OSU coach for doing that.

In real life, not all 15 players can be starters. And if all 15 players were definitely starter caliber, there would be a lot of transfers. Some players are great from the outset, some develop more slowly and really aren't major contributors until their junior or senior years.

A lot of players love being part of the team and would rather be bit players at this level than stars in Division II.

That said, if you see someone transfer this year, and us pick up another great recruit, you'll know it's not a coincidence.

Don't disagree with you one bit Tango. But I was thinking that virtually everyone one of those girls could be a starter at another D-1 program, perhaps a top 20, but certainly a top 30.

You know it might be that these young ladies came to OU because they really liked OU and now that they are there they might be like a lot of the other ladies who have come through this program, they have become Sooners and don't want to go anywhere else.

You might think about it, love for a program is very strong.

I wouldn't give up on Williams. I see a lot I like in her. There are times when I wish she'd been in instead of Carter. Two years ago we had to use two volleyball players to practice and now we're going to run players off? Ridiculous.

T'Ona and LaNesia only wanted to come to OU. T'Ona made some contributions today. There is hope, especially if she develops a shot. She has made two threes recently--surprise. I understand that Derica is a lock to stay.

You don't know what anyone will do with a year under their belt. Shaya can rebound and shoot. She just hasn't been in the game. I don't know why, but there has to be a reason.

I don't think they'll leave on their own, and I would be against Sherri if she ran someone off.

If women are happy with their team and their relationships with their teammates on and off the court, they are more likely than men are to stay even if they aren't getting starter minutes.

I agree with all of you. I don't think they are going anywhere.

My desire to play or go to a bigger and better job always won out with me. I think it might with a good many people.

I won't be unhappy if they stay. They all seem to be great Sooners, good kids. I'm proud they are on the roster.

Is don't think anyone leaves. This team has great chemistry.

I have been frustrated with T'Ona quite often over the past year. But I have noticed she is getting better. I always said - when she came in - "Oh boy. Here comes our turnover machine." But being honest with myself, I have noticed marked improvement over the season. She really played well most of her time today. Even hit a very critical 3 about half way through the 2nd half. She has an upside that we will all probably appreciate over the next 2 years.

I really like Wyatt. I wish something could happen (improvement in some area of her game) to allow her to get lots more minutes. I agree she looks good and has a place in D-1 basketball. Plus she seems like a great person.

Lanesia, looks good at times. She is extremely quick. She may mature over the years into an excellent player.

Kellog. I just don't know. We have not seen her enough to know.

But this worshipping of unproven players before they get here is a bit looney. We have exactly ONE player coming in next year. Will she even help us? No way to know - so even suggesting writing her in as a miracle program changing player - over a 4 year producer makes no sense. Let's put a stop to that. It is disrespectful to the players we have who are doing everything within their skill set to win for us. I get frustrated too. But I like everyone of our kids and would not want any of them to leave unless they think it is what they want.

We lost our 4 tonight -- Sharane, so my thoughts are we have to replace her and the idea of two bigs, whether two centers or someone like Maddie or Ojmidge at the 4 is not putting them over an existing player.

Going with two bigs is probably what Sherri needs and would like to do. However, she would need four that were good enough to play and half of them would have to be able to hit a shot from the elbow.

Without that, 3 guards, a big guard, and a post player would probably render the best results.

Personally when i think of Maddie I'd rather see her outside with the ball in her hands creating, driving, and shooting.

PLEASE MOVE LENESIA TO POINT GAURD

She can put in the hoop every once in a while, but she is not a scorer. But I think She could be a VERRRRRRY good point. If nothing else she could be VERRRRRRY good at guarding points- something we struggle with at times... I think to put her up against Maddie, Gioya, and Peyton- her size is just a disadvantage for her, and she just can't score like them. But if you move her to point, and tell her to just run the offense, I see a player. Most importantly, I especially see a true stopper that can rotate in. PLLLLEASE MOVER HER TO POINT GAURD!!
