If OSU player was suspected of Mass Murder?

How many ppg does he average?

Don't know but he was selected as Big 12 rookie of the week after averaging about 16.5 pts and 10-12 rebounds for games against Mizzou and OU.

If an OSU player fell in the forest....

He would be the bpu press release "well you knw hes a good kid, he just got caught up in an unfortuante sitiuation. He support him and will still let him practice and play with the team because its just murder people"

p.s. yes 40 cal im stealing bpu from you, deal with it :D

It's 3 strikes and you're out. He'd have to be on his 3rd murder for OSU to do anything about it.

He would play b/c OU had Dusty Dvoracek so that justifies anything an osu athlete does. Besides, it was probably the victims' fault anyway- osu athletes are targeted by people who can convince the corrupt, OU fan DA to charge them and ruin their seasons. Did I mention that OU has been on probation in football? Or that AD test drove a Lexus for too long? Or that OU always cheat at everything?

Did I miss any excuses?

You're missing the point.

The point of mentioning those things is not to excuse any OSU player from bad behavior.

It's just a not-so-subtle reminder that no school is immune from these incidents. Don't really get what's so hard to understand about that.

I think it's consistently hilarious that fans of EVERY school ALWAYS act like THEIR school would "never" allow (insert incident) like their evil/souless/cheating rival would. :ez-roll:

And yes, this includes the crazies over on orangepower.com who would be posting the exact same crap if this were Andrew Fitzgerald instead of Darrell Williams.

Get some freaking self-awareness, people.

Now that you mention Fitzgerald, I will point out that when Fitzgerald was accused of shoplifting, OU suspended him immediately. The University did not play the guy and wait for the judicial system to act

Pretty sure Fitz was cited on the spot and given a ticket for shoplifting, he was caught in the act.

Williams' incident only included allegations from an anonymous note.

Haven't you heard that OU is behind EVERYTHING negative that happens in stoolwater??? We have a department that is specifically challenged with creating havoc and negativity for the T Bone Pickens University!

The Soonerlluminati. Don't tell anyone though, or they'll steel your house.

Agreed.

It is still an allegation until there is a hearing and a conviction. I recognize the situations are different but I would contend the main difference is the severity of the allegations. OSU and Ford made a decision to let the kid play and got a black on eye on this one.

:clap :clap :ez-roll:

Shhhh! Don't tell our double-secret conspiracy plot.

This includes all that big bribe money paid to the Oklahoman and Tulsa World columnists to keep churning out all of that "keeping OSU down" stuff that I keep hearing about but never see for myself.

I disagree with this. One was caught and cited at the 'scene', so he was essentially found guilty of it right then. As for Williams it was nothing but allegations, which were being investigated. When he was formally charged then you take action.

Don't see how you can penalize a player for being accused of something. You start sliding down a pretty slippery slope if you start following that way of doing things.
