I'm predicting a 5/6 Seed next season

it's not all potential. Woodard, lattin, AK, mcnease, buford all have final four experience.

Saying we are a 15 win team is laughable

Final four experience? Turn it on espn and you can hear about their final four experience...over and over and over.

THey won four pressure packed games against good teams. Two of them being top 15 teams in the country.

Yeah that means nothing.

No. Because buddy is no longer on this team. Neither is his 37 points he put up against Oregon.

15 is definitely too low, but I'll be very interested to see what the Vegas win total for us is.

You, personally, wouldn't have even wanted Buddy on the team 4 years ago, he wasn't a 5-star burger boy.

Who says one of these guys isn't going to turn into an All-American in their career?

I don't know how anyone can guess what our record will be without seeing our schedule.

You are like a gnat that keeps buzzing around every thread while I try to get info. HAHA.. Get out of here!

Haha, this might be the most ridiculous thing I've seen. Playing to the final four did not benefit any of these young guys at all b/c buddy was on this team? haha ok

1. We have a decent idea of what it'll be.

2. Even if we know the schedule, some of the teams might be better or worse than we think they'll be. Example, this year. Wisconsin was not a good team when we played them this year. Creighton wasn't as good as some people thought they'd be. Memphis wasn't as good. Hawaii was probably better.

What about Villanova?

I left them off intentionally. Obviously they ended up being better than we probably thought they were before the season, and certainly better than they were in December.

I won't say 15 wins is impossible, but it would be horribly disappointing. Lon won 15 games with Carl Blair as his backup PG in 2011-12. I think he can do at least that well with the talent he has on the roster next season.

Losing 50 points per game out of your starting line-up.

I like the freshmen potential, too, but it's all potential.

After the 2013 season, we lost 49 out of 71 ppg. The next season we won 23 games and got a 5 seed.

After this year, we lose 51 out of 80 ppg.

We actually lost a higher percentage of our points scored going into 2013-14.

Buddy, Cousins, and Clark combined for 17 ppg in 12-13.
Woodard, Lattin, and Buford combined for 22.1 ppg last year. And that's not including James, who really came on strong over the last month and looks to be one of our top 3 players next year.

The future is not so bleak. We will not win 15 or fewer games barring serious injury. That would tie for Kruger's lowest win total at OU, when he inherited a disaster from Capel.

North Carolina missed the tournament the year after their last title. Same with Kentucky. Same with UConn.

Our expectations should be tempered.

They missed on one and dones!

Also UK missed because Nerlens Noel got hurt. They were on track to make it until their best player that season went down.

Yeah, they were ranked in the Top-25 and (I believe) had a lead against a top-10 UF team in Gainesville when Noel went down in the 2nd half.

They lost the lead and the game when he went down, and lost a lot of games down the stretch without him, leading to the NIT.

I just remember that because I was at the game! Had been in Jacksonville on business and scored a ticket.

I think OU will be like most years..around 20 win season. 7-10 seed

We have a lot of good players. 15 wins without a bunch of injuries seems really unlikely. As far as the schedule goes, I doubt Lon is going to schedule a bunch of top 15 teams like this year.
