Improved from last year

When I look at our team from last year and compare them to this year, these are the only players in which I see improvement:

Kaylon
ViVi
LaNesia
T'ona
Treece (although she only plays sparingly)

Statistically, Maddie is a bit better but last year she was not a starter and she only played about 15 minutes per game. Same with Derica who only played about 7 minutes per game last year.

At the beginning of the year, I expected we would see a big improvement in Maddie and Gabbi. I also expected some improvement in Peyton and Gioya. Unfortunately, Gioya has been injured. I thought Kaylon would be about the same as last year. I guess it goes to show you never know what to expect until you see them on the court.

Maddie is a very over rated player. She may be a great practice player but when the lights come on she is mediocre at best with poor handles and turnover pron compared to all we have heard. Sherri has even said that she expects Maddie to be conference player of the year before she leaves. I would be shocked.
Treece and Penzo should be getting more minutes. They are showing the most potential for growth but yet we stick with other less productive players hoping they will break out.
This is a very underachieving team and part of it is Sherri playing favorites.
