Back to the topic... a poster on rivals said he heard an Indiana guard was looking at us. Anyone heard any other names? Possibly Cole going the med school route, regardless of Buddy's decision?

Would we really need another guard if Buddy sticks around?

I say no, unless somebody is transferring. And maybe Booker or Walker are considering it. Don't know.

But if we return Woodard, Cousins, Buddy, Booker, Walker, and bring in James and Odomes, and also Buford, I just don't see how we could take another transfer at the guard spot. Unless it's a kid that is going to sit out a year and be eligible the next year when we lose Buddy, Cousins, and Walker.

would just add, nothing was ever said about immediate eligiblity. I know we are back to a full roster and having good classes come in, but I still wouldn't put it past Kruger to bring in a guy who would sit out a year and be on our team for a couple years. He supplemented his teams at his previous stops doing this, especially at UNLV.

Buddy will be a better player if he stays a year. He has improved every year a bunch. Now does that help his draft status? Maybe a few places. As of right now it would be hard for Buddy to make a team as a second round pick. If he gets in the first it is a guaranteed contract. Somebody might take the chance on him. Physically he is gifted, he is a great kid, he works extremely hard so it is possible.
