Listening to the Sports Animal yesterday and Gottlieb said that TMG "single handedly detonated a bomb, the shrapnel from which is still being felt within the OU program", or something to that effect. He also said that WW had some people fooled by his attitude his freshman year and that Taylor was the force on that team. Good stuff. As for the future, he said Capel could get things going in the right direction and that Ross would go a long way in doing it.

Th one major problem I see with getting things back on track is Ross seems likely to go to Kentucky. I hope we get him, but why would he want to step into this mess?

Jones seems likely to go to UK, I don't know how hard UK is after Ross though.

I have thought since the season ended that tmg was the center-not necessarily the only-of the problem with last year's team. I think he got under WW's skin and generally roiled the water making people angry.

I don't disagree that TMG was probably a problem...you can glean that just from reading some of his facebook posts.

However, I have to wonder if Gallon had left and TMG stayed if we wouldn't all be pointing at Gallon as being the "center of the problem".

By staying and not leaving, you sort of weed yourself out of contention for being the "problem" IMHO.

Right...you didn't read my post completely. I said:

Wait a minute. Previously said WW was totally to blame for OUs problems.

This just proves what smart people have known all along. ESPN hires dorks who just flap their gums and have no conscience. Sad thing is there is a small market of people who actually listen to those clowns.

But that's the point...
They each proved their character with the decision they made. Of course... pending the Tiny investigation.
