KU may not be great but it’s all relative. The big12 is mostly average and is clearly down this year. KU doesn’t have to be great. They just have to be good enough, and they will be.

Only conference with every team in the top 100 of the NET rankings, and the lowest ranked team is mid 80s. It is very much a good league. Two teams in the top 10 and a handful of others are dangerous. And for all the talk of KU not being great, they are 14-2 against the best schedule in America. Is the point to look pretty or win games? If any other Big 12 team had accomplished what they have so far this season, we'd all be drooling over them, but instead people act like they are mediocre because their freshman guards aren't playing like Micheal Jordan. I despise KU more than anyone else alive, but to not recognize what they've done is just silly.

You're being kind. That was a delusional statement. The conference is one of the top 2 conferences in the country year in & year out.

I've said multiple times I'll take anyone up on this bet. I'll take KU, you get ISU. If one of those teams wins the league, the loser buys the winner a couple lower level seats at an OU home game (sadly, they are dirt cheap).

glad I am not an ISU fan right now. as frustrating as OU has been this year the clones are even worse. but no matter what it's nice to see someone win the league other than KU. no doubt!

You're right.....but it was more of a statement that KU wasn't going to win another title this year. Like CoolM, I thought ISU had the most talent in the league as a whole....especially after the first third of the season. But they found a way to screw it up. I don't think Prohm is that good of a game or roster manager. Tech has the best "sum of the parts" team this season and KSU isn't far behind.....but don't be shocked if ISU makes the deepest run in the NCAA tournament in regards to Big 12 teams.....they are tremendously talented.

No big deal. I said multiple times that OU would not make the Dance unless they go 8-10 in conference play. I was wrong. It's a Message Board, so no harm in making predictions. No one bats a thousand, except perhaps in their own mind.
