Is Trae one-and-done?

He’s isnt going to average 30 points a game ,he will be lucky to average 20 when conference starts .

You saw against Arkansas what will happen when players body him up and play physical .
He’s great for freshman ,but let’s tap the brakes on giving him the curry status 5 games into his young career .

I did see him drop 29 on Arkansas. He was clearly the best player on the court, too. He can score at will at this level. When Blake was a freshman at ou I stated that he would be the #1 pick. Trae is the most talented guard in OU history and it isn't close. He is one and done unless he wants to stick around for the college experience.

Actually he only had 28 and shot 44%

Second that’s silly to say about a kid that barely plays defense .Mookie was the best ,not saying this player couldn’t surpass him but right now I’ll take Mookie everyday and twice on sundays .
If he leaves this year he won’t be a lotto pick nor will he be the best guard ever at OU.

Hope you're right but I don't see it. He is going to average 30 per game and be top 10 in assists. He looks like he is going against high school players still. He's one and done unless he just loves playing for ou.

Looking at him through an NBA lens, hes small, hes not particularly athletic, hes going to have trouble finishing in the lane, he probably cant defend his position well. Hes got range, and could shoot 40% in the league, but bigger, athletic NBA point guards will give him trouble. Hes not a lottery pick this year.

Im not saying he isnt really good, but hes not a top 10-15 pick right now. Id say hes closer to 25. If thats the case he should come back and try to get stronger.

Who is he going to guard in the league? How well can he guard 6-5 athletic point guards? Im not sure he can consistently finish in the lane in the NBA. He has fantastic range, and is a great passer, but if I had a top 10 pick Id be worried he would be destroyed on the defensive end. Maybe Im completely wrong, but that is how I view him.

If he can keep up what he's done the first 5 games, he'd have the best season ever for a freshman guard. That's a very high pick.

Chris Paul is just 6'0" and many regard him as the best defensive PG in the NBA.
