I mean, Woodard is a helluva player, I just don't know where he would fit into this team besides being a guy off the bench playing the same roll as a T-Neal or Cam Clark. With the addition of Wright you get a legit, mobile, 4 year, Big Man depth, which is something we drastically need....

Not sure how desirable the Tulsa job is going to be right now considering how conference realignment has unfolded.
 
I just got a Breaking News email from the Tulsa World that Wojcik is out at the University of Tulsa. No other details were included.
 
Needed to happen. Last time attendance was that low was over 30 years ago, right before Nolan Richardson took over.
 
I'm hearing talk of Scott Sutton to TU, and Sean taking over at ORU.

That would make me sick to my stomach.

I think it is MORE desirable with how the league realigned. Top to bottom, this is an upgrade over the existing C-USA. It is a downgrade for the existing MWC, but for Tulsa, it turned out great. Its a very solid mid-major basketball conference if Fresno State, Nevada, and UTEP can get back on their feet.

As for coaching at TU, I would not want any of the Suttons there. They have a presence in Tulsa though and they are very popular in the area.

Doc Sadler (just fired by NU)
Steve Mcclain (Former HC at Wyoming, now at Indiana)
Terry Evans (UCO)
Johnny Jones (North Texas)
 
I hope that tu will do the respectful thing and let James Woodard out of his scholarship. Then we need to go and right the wrong and give him a scholarship. The we will see what will happen with Jordan.
