ISU is in a tough game and might lose to Tech in Lubbock. Tech up by one with less than 1 minute to go.

Are people still afraid of ISU? I don't see why OU can't beat ISU. Ames is a tough place to play but I think OU can compete with ISU on the road.

and us winning at Tech is not a given either. It will be a tough ball game.

Some of you are just afraid to be positive. All road games are tough but OU is a solid team this year. Why give so much credit to teams like ISU, KSU, Baylor and OSU but not give any credit to OU?

This could also hurt OU. A win, or two against ISU would look a lot better if they weren't losing games to TT. If they start losing, it's just one more set of games that will hurt OU come RPI time.

I think it's more important finishing ahead of ISU in the standings, not worrying about their rpi.

Won/lost record and where OU finishes in the conference standing will determine our tourney fate. Not the RPI.

No one has to be a top 20 team or a top 25 team to get in. All in takes is top 40.

I saw the last minute on ESPNU. It looked like even the Tech fans were shocked, not to mention anyone from Iowa State.

I was in tears after visiting Cyclonefanatic. Someone had the nerve to start an official "calm down" thread after losing to Texas Tech. :D

(check link in sig if you are curious)

Yep...all 400 people in the arena (includes both teams' players and coaches) were shocked.
