Both the basketball and football team won as well as the Thunder. I wonder if that has ever happened on the same day?

Regardless.....it's good to be a Sooner!:chestram2:

Agreed! I was thinking the same thing last night.

65-54 ... OU Basketball Wins
59-56 ... OU Football Wins
109-104 ... OKC Thunder Wins

Anything but a Black Friday.
The OU basketball team had the largest winning margin of the three.
OU Football earns the opportunity to BEAT TEXAS.

I loved how the WVU football fans kept giving the horns-down sign every time the camera scanned the crowd.

I wondered if that's what they were doing! Wasn't sure if that was a slam on OU or just a hatred for all things burnt orange.

I think they were fully expecting to be playing them in a week. it’s a shame for them—all those wasted horns-downs.

what idiots ... that violates the very first rule of fandom - you NEVER look past the team right in front of you. It jinxes your team.

Thunder? What is that and what does it have to do with the Sooners???

I don't think that is why they were doing it.

I think it was a clear mocking to the big 12 for penalizing them for doing the horns down against texas

oh I forgot all about that. you're right I am sure. thats ridiculous on the big-12's part. good point for them.

yeah you're right, nba being in OKC has really helped OU basketball ticket sells

there is no correlation. We had a long thread on this in the past.
I made a graph and the attendance of OU basketball is a direct correlation to how well the team is playing. When they stink, attendance is low. When they are great, the attendance is better.
