Have not seen a comment on his role in the win last night. The Mean Green big guy was scoring at will over Manek inside. Iwuakor replaced Manek and with his quickness and strength just shut the guy down. This coincided with the Sooners run to get back in the game.

He didn't seem to get into the flow of the offensive game. This seemed to be a problem for all of the bench guys last night. But I feel that Iwuakor will be a big contributor to the team during his career at OU.

Victor is a stud! I love him. Manek was out-matched inside and part of that was because Doo was on the perimeter defending their point guard, so the help inside was generally a guard.

Victor reminds me of a younger Doolittle. I could see his game becoming like Doo's as he continues to develop.

He was a great surprise in this class and I think he might turn out to be the best of the freshman trio of himself, Harmon and Hill.

Agreed. As of late, it appears that Iwuakor needs to be the first big guy off of the bench rather than Kuath.

Kuath's minutes should drop off considerably as we near conference play. We'll be an 8-man rotation once the calendar flips.

Minutes will drop but completely out of rotation seems unlikely.

Although that seems likely I hope he is about to earn more time. We need his upside, his size, he needs to smooth things out.

Mean green guy had 8 points and one rebound. That rebound was an offensive rebound over Vic. What I want to see is more Doo Manek and Vic on the court and less wide open three point shooters on the perimeter. Reaves let number one go wild in the first half. I was at the game and he left him several times unguarded.

I was also thinking that we should see more of Doo, Manek and VI in the game together. Manek seems to defend better away from the basket and VI is a beast in the paint even giving a few inches.

We also need to get the point guards going. Need more offense from them. That and our inside defense and rebounding are our growth areas to raise our level of play.
