Zeke from Cabin Creek has passed away at 86. One of the all-time greatest shootng guards in the history of college and pro basketball. And a HOF executive.

Before I started watching college sports, I was a fan of the pro teams. As a LA Lakers fan, my idol was Jerry West - and almost became a West Virginia fan. I remember when the Lakers finally beat the Celtics in the NBA Finals in 1985, West (then Lakers GM) was so traumatized from losing to the Celtics back in the 1960s that he watched the deciding Game 6 on his TV because he could not go to Boston. I'm so glad he got that last monkey off his back. We lost a phenomenal NBA player, NBA executive and man. Rest in peace #44.

then retired

then after a 4 year break joined the warriors as a board member/advisor

then he wnet to the clippers as a board member/advisor ..
