Jersey Gates (2010) new recruit?

I heard Capel traveled to Navasota this morning to watch Gates eat his Wheaties at 6 a.m. The Stephen F. Austin and Lamar coaches showed up at 6:15 and were furious that Capel was out-working them.
 
I dont think there is anyway we offer...capel isnt that silly....we have enough guard play to wait until next year if this is our only option

Only thing in articles I can find is his stats (scoring 20+ a game) and mentions leadership. Nothing about if he is a shooter, good off the dribble, nada.
 
I wonder if Jersey Gates is the Mike Nobler of basketball recruits?
 
Guy has a cool name. 95% of the time they become good players.

Uh, no. Dude was plenty good in HS, he just didn't have a college game. TONS of players like that. Rodney Sooter from Miami. The list goes on and on.
