Jim Traber on Stevie Clark

After hearing this and some of the other things that have been stated on this board about Clark I'm guessing he is going to end up someplace like Memphis. Or of course there's always Baylor.

The minute Stevie Clark went to a prep school that is in its first year in Vegas which could cause academic problems, I think he dropped off of OU's list. It is a high risk move that will impact his future. If Traber is right then OU should run away as quickly as possible. It doesn't matter how good he is, OU can't take any risks for years thanks to the problems of the previous coaches (Sampson and Capel). Lon Kruger is going to run a clean program.

I thought Jarion went to Prep school then entered Juco last January when he didn't qualify for OU.

This is exactly right and a big part of why Kruger was hired.

Just took a look at the Trinity Valley website and was surprised to see a familiar face in the team photo. Dead center in the photo is none other than Abdi Ahmed. The roster on the site doesn't pull up and neither does the schedule, but that definitely is him.

From New Mexico st. To la Jolla prep, to OU, to Redlands, now trinity. We have seen this story too much.

Honestly, who really cares. It's not like him not making it is going to sink our program.

That is where I'm at. I'm more interested in who wins the 1st at Saratoga today than what these kids do from day today. It is Kruger's job to find them, sign them up and win with them.

My only point was that the kid hasn't done anything to diqualify himself from still showing up at OU in the fall. If Kruger still wants him, I'm still on board. That's all.
