Now that he transferring from UCLA, I wonder what the odds are that we try to get the Dallas native. He wouldn't be a bad pick-up since he has to sit out a year and it looks like we are going to have several scholarships available.
I thought about that when I read in this morning's newspaper that he is leaving UCLA.
I would say any interest OU may have will depend on why he left? Capel cannot afford to use a ship on a player who could be an extension of some of the problems he faced this season, especially someone who will have to sit out next year.
Even though he missed his team meeting, he was planning on transferring so him missing the team meeting might not be that big of a deal. I think he would be a perfect transfer. I top 25 player out of high school with a year to develop and then 2 years to play for us. He has some upside and he's already better than Allen and Hardrick combined.
Major attitude and work ethic issues during his entire stay at UCLA. His conditioning (or lack of) has plagued him since high school. You really think this is what we need right now?

Is he really that big of a gamble. We have a crap load of scholarships available. He would be nothing but a practice player next year. And theres still a chance that Gallon, Warren, Allen and Hardrick might not be back.
I guess its all up to where Morgan wants to go and if Capel would take him.
