OU only had 11 scholarship players to start last season so I seriously doubt Thompson and Hardrick were run off for other players. I think they both decided to play somewhere else. I also think Blair decided to transfer on his own so Kruger picked up Cousins. If they were run off, I don't agree with that decision unless they did something wrong.

Telling a kid the truth about his playing time is completely different than forcing him out. I think the coach has an obligation to tell a kid he is not likely to get much playing time so that the kid may decide what he wants to do.

Thompson and Hardrick were told they are not D-1 players and to find another school, as they should have never been on an OU roster in the first place. I am sure Kruger & Co. helped find them a landing spot as most programs do.
