Ford was like "dang Butch, we need to actually recruit some big guys".

Says a lot about where Stevie is headed

IF he was smart then he would go to Baylor. I don't think Ford is going to last another year at OSU. I bet the next poke coach will be the defensive, grind-it-out type like a Doc Saddler.

It would be crushing to me to have the aggies land Marcus Smart and Stevie Clark (two guys that I started following before they blew up into the big time and guys that I wanted at OU).

Prepare to be crushed then. Will be fun to see Clark and Woodard battle it out the next 4 years

If you are correct (and I am assuming you mean this means Stevie Clark is going to OSU), are you good with OSU telling a kid he has a scholarship and then pulling it for a better player?

I don't want OU to do things like that. I want OU to have morals, ethics and lead by example in everything the University does.

I don't like the end to justify the means.

Help me out with why this says a lot about where Stevie is going? Is OsU out of scholarships and this move was done to free up a spot for him? I can't imagine a player with the ability of Stevie Clark would be worried about at JUCO player being in the same class.

Playing time was the issue for Frazier. His old AAU coach did a lot of asking around about Clark and wanted to know how much Clark would play in hi first two years at OSU.

One factor on Clark with OU is he would probably come off the bench. Ford slides his players down a position with small forwards playing power forward positions and Clark has a better chance playing the 1 or 2 right off the bat.

From an OU perspective, I think Woodard is a better fit. He can guard two positions and can hold his own for a bit if switched off on bigger players. Coming off the bench as a back up pg is not going to be a big deal for him where as with Clark, he wouldn't prefer that.

Clark really fits what OSU and Baylor does. He basically is a faster, bigger, and more explosive version of Keiton Page.. Right now he is about an inch or two taller than Page and is physically stronger.

osu can not afford to fire ford .... they are not in good shape money wise as a Athletic dept

I didn't see why he chose OSU in the first place. They will have a logjam at the 1 thru 3 spots next year with Brown, Smart, Williams, Forte, Nash, Gardner all returning plus 2 more wingmen in the recruiting class.

Ford will run Gardner off

Y??? if Frazier left, thats perfect. They don't need him if they get Clark. What they need to do is to not run off Soucek like they have with every other big man. Keep Murphy, Soucek and Cobbins and add Hammonds and Gaskins. They have been missing size and depth and now they will have it.

I think OSU is upgrading at the PG spot.

Ooooh... um....

Kyle Hardrick, Carl Blair, and Nick Thompson say hello...

osu has massive AD debt ... and osu AD is not self sufficient ..

Yes OSU is losing so much money from womens soccer. It is just hemorrhaging millions each week.

OU only had 11 scholarship players to start last season so I seriously doubt Thompson and Hardrick were run off for other players. I think they both decided to play somewhere else. I also think Blair decided to transfer on his own so Kruger picked up Cousins. If they were run off, I don't agree with that decision unless they did something wrong.

Telling a kid the truth about his playing time is completely different than forcing him out. I think the coach has an obligation to tell a kid he is not likely to get much playing time so that the kid may decide what he wants to do.
