Don't really know what else to say other than the title. AT HOME? Are you kidding me?! Probably on overreaction but still, they cant finish a game after making a comeback in conference. Last 3 losses-ISU, down 8 late in game, come back to 1 point game with ball, stupid running shot away from basket, we give up a 3, we lose. Down 13 to WVU, even take the lead with a minute left, lose it, lose game in OT, and tonight. Down 20 AT HOME to what Richard Sherman would call "Mediocre" TTU team, come all the way back to make it a 3 point game and then cant finish. Maybe they spend all their energy making the comeback and they don't have any left idk, but its frustrating, and good teams make those comebacks.

I really hope some of y'all agree with me about this being a bad loss. And for people to say its ok losing this, its really not. It looks "turible" on the resume.

Of course it's a bad loss.
But good teams have bad losses from time to time.
Just gotta hope we learn something from it and get better.
We will bounce back, and it starts this Saturday with a tough one in Stillwater.

We had a turrible night. Buddy was absolute trash tonight. Woodard a dumpster. Clark's shot with a few minutes left made me throw up! Down three or four and you throw that thing at the rim? Wow! Spangler, were you here tonight? That was half of what you normally do. Thanks to Hornbeak, Cousins, and Socks we made it a game somehow. Those three were great to watch.

This isn't just a bad loss....it's a horrible loss in terms of rpi and seeding. We could get away with a loss like this if it occurred in December, but in the middle of February...it's inexcusable. Or....maybe this team just isn't as good as we all thought they were? Maybe we are just a 4th or 5th place team in the Big 12? I can't figure this team out.

Jump shooting team. Finally caught up with us. Spangler looks lost on offense. Wish he were more involved. Might have helped on a night like tonight.

Better figure it out if were gonna make the tourn. Don't have a good enough resume without at least winning our remaining home games and maybe one road game.

We let a crap team come into our house and slap us around. Yeah, it's a bad loss.

We have the resume to make the tourney easily. Stop being dramatic.

Last Saturday's shooting was fools gold for tonight.

Spanger never touched the ball, but I didn't see how hard he was working to get it either.

Just a bad, bad loss.

Bad loss. Only the 2nd one of the season (La Tech). Have to find ways to score when our jump shooting is off. We'll beat OState Saturday, though.

I'm not panicking yet. We lost to a well-coached team that's clearly going to be right there in the thick of NCAA Tournament contention in the coming years. I compare it to 2012 OU going to Manhattan and beating a good KSU team. It just goes to show you can't take a night off in this conference.

It was a bad loss but Tubby has his team playing well and they played well. You have to play really well in this conference when the shots are not falling and we had too many bad stretches tonight.

I really think it childish to be embarrassed when our team doesn't play well. It is like some posters total well being is tied up in whether the team wins and so someone has to get trashed over it. They are not a bunch of one and dones like Kentucky has and they have to play well to win, but the effort they put out and their improvement over the last two years has been very good.

Woodard and Buddy were missing tonight but I didn't see them slacking out there.

This team is still a player or two short and a little too inexperienced to do as well as some of you seem to think you are entitle to.

La. Tech's 20-5. I'm not quite ready to put that one in the bad loss category yet.

Me neither - I think we knew back then that La Tech was going to be a tourney team and would win their conference. They played extremely well that night and made a ton of shots (albeit a ton of wide open looks).

The game yesterday was obviously frustrating. I was impressed by the comeback in the second half, but we still missed a lot of opportunities (FTs, easy buckets). I think we're still a strong shooting team from the outside, and we have enough good shooters where games like Texas Tech shouldn't occur too often. However, we don't have a reliable PF or center for easier buckets in the paint, so it will be hard to win if we aren't making jump shots. The other obvious problem was our inability to handle the press well and Tech's active defense. We had too many turnovers, and their defense seemed very effective at disrupting our shots. Tech isn't a bad team. They've won 3 in a row, and they played K-State close in Manhattan.

The Tech loss won't affect our tournament chances if we rebound quickly and not let the shooting struggles continue through the tough stretch ahead.
