After last night's game, he has us as the 4th best defense in terms of efficiency, and the 35th best offense in terms of efficiency.

Hopefully the offense keeps improving. Really need more games like last night from Thomas and Booker. If one or both of those guys get going, we can certainly live up to preseason expectations.

Just in case anybody is interested, he also has us as the 42nd team in terms of tempo.

I can't imagine 41 teams play at a faster tempo than the Sooners. Not in the power 5 conferences.

The quality of our defense limits the overall number of possessions .... So while we're playing fast, our opponents are forced to take more of the shot clock.

That, and when we don't get an early shot on offense, or off the break, we tend to run a lot of the shot down before taking a shot.

OU was #4 in defensive efficiency before last night's game, but the offense jumped from the mid 40s to the mid 30s.

Sagarin has OU at #10. SOS is #2. And OU is 7-4 versus top 25 teams in his ratings. Only KU has more top 25 wins with 8.
