Right before the half, I was thinking if OU can just stay in the single-digit range, no way ISU can shoot 3's at that clip all night and Lon and the boys would have a chance to make a comeback.

With 1:44 left in the half, the Sooners are down 46-39.

Hield has a layup, assisted by Thomas, a steal and gives an assist to Woodard, and then nets the three from the wing on a break. Thomas then blocks a last second ISU shot and OU ties the game at half.

Buddy was essenitally responsible for seven straight OU points.

This spurt changed the complexion of the game. Buddy's energy even after a full-court first-half was a big difference in the outcome.

Reminded me of some of the great OU energy guys in the past - Blaylock, Najera, Hollis....really fun to watch.

It was a lot like the TCU game when we were down 7 and scored the last 10 points of the half, and then started hot in the 2nd half. Two straight games like that
except this was against a lot better team last night. Just an incredible game for a basketball fan to watch…...

That 3 he made from the wing on the fast break during that run was incredible. He had so much momentum going forward that he had to adjust that shot A LOT. Watching that arc in the air was a thing of beauty.
