KSU @ Norman 5:30CST on FSOK

I think so too, but you never no with foreign guys. They are much more comfortable taking the overseas option quicker than Americans.

Perhaps, but he's been in the US since he was a small child.

i think Kur comes back

I hope you’re right! Kur’s progress since last year has been nothing short of amazing. The raw part of his game is still there at times, but watching him grow has been a satisfying experience. I mean, who knew he would develop a sweet stroke from the perimeter that would make him an important part of our offense? He takes those shots with confidence, too.

Harkless is a great defender!! Offensively he is just really weird and hard to figure out. Still worried a bit about next years team, but he's looking like he could be a starter on next years team with Harmon/Gibson.. unless Williams some how comes back!!

Don't have to wait til next year to see what Harkless is like as a starter. He's been starting each of the last 2-3 games. But you're right, he is a very good defender.

He’s also one heck of a rebounder. He had 13 in last night’s game, moving him up to a tie with Manek for third best and a 4.1 rpg average.

I just don't think he's a good enough player right at the moment to be a big 12 starter. Next year I'm not even sure of it. He's been a pleasant surprise and we got 5-6 guys for sure coming back that can defend hard, but who scores?? We need a dude to transfer that can go get his own bucket.

I've been saying from the beginning that he would take someone's minutes if he got eligible. I just didn't know it would be Manek's.

All the complaints on this board about our defense and rebounding and toughness, yet when we get a guy who checks all those boxes, he isn’t a good enough player because he isn’t a big scorer? It’s way too early to worry about next season. We have no idea who will transfer in and out, who may stay or go, etc. But Harkless has shown he is a guy who can help win games in the Big 12 as a key part of the rotation.

Some players draw attention to themselves by errors, mistakes and poor decisions made on the court but Harkless doesn't seem to draw this type of attention. Good for him, good for us.
