KU-oswho

There was a point late in the second half where they commented that OSU only had 3 team fouls and Ford told them they could be more aggressive on defense because they had only 3 team fouls. The next three fouls they committed were on made baskets! I'm not sure KU hit all the free throws, but I thought that was really stupid of the OSU players.

Umm what are the OSU morons booing?
That they didn't get to rush the court again in a game they were the favorites?
I was wondering the same thing. There didn't seem to be any obvious reason to boo, and they waited until the final buzzer to do so. When I rewatched the last sequence, the only blatant no-call I saw was Jurick not getting whistled for pulling the front collar of Withey's jersey for several seconds on that final rebound opportunity.

After watching OU, KU, KSU, ISU, Baylor, and OSU in the last couple of days I think the big 12 tournament could go to anyone. There really isnt a difference in any of these teams. I think OSU, KU, and Baylor have the best players (NBA futures) but the worst coaches, and OU, ISU, and KSU have medium players and great coaches.

Ford and Drew are pretty bad coaches but you're kidding yourself on Self, he's one of the top 5 coaches in the country let alone the Big 12.

Did anyone see Travis Ford booing the official in the first overtime?

I have seen coaches scream, cuss, throw a temper tantrum and do a variety of things in protest to an official's call. But in all of the years I have watched college basketball, I have never seen a head coach blatantly boo an official before. That was a first for me.

At just over the three minute mark, an official calls a foul on OSU. The camera pans to the sideline and there was Little Travie with both hands cupped to his mouth in the classic position, yelling "BOO! BOO!" Maybe somebody will post the clip on Youtube for all of the world to see.

Saw that too. Hilarious. I guess you can get T'd if you yell at the refs but not if you boo the refs. :eddie187_jpg_xs:

He is averaging six...

Seven in conference play, nine over the past six games. He reached double digits in free throws in four of those six games, including 14 in his last two games.

He's trending upward.

He's also an arrogant player. at the end of regulation they had what 3.something secs left. Instead of trying to receive the ball on the move towards their basket and hope to get past the half court before launching a shot, he just stands there and takes the in bound with his back to the basket and turns for a length of the court shot. I know they were out of Time outs but you practice these situations. They were not prepared or he ignored whatever plan they have practiced. I just thought, really? that's the shot you are taking?

Arrogant?

Seriously doubt Travis Ford had a play ready or Marcus Smart knew what to do for a 2-2-1 three quarter court press with under three seconds left. Good wrinkle by Self, they really haven't shown that at all so not easy to prepare for.

You think Self is one of the worst coaches in the Big XII? That is an unique opinion.

Actually it was the end of the 1st OT. There were exactly 3 secs left and Nash was wide open at half court. Of course the way he played last night, I wouldn't have passed to him either.

Things we won't see Travis Ford do:
-lead a team to the Final Four
-win a NCAA tournament game with 5 different schools
-win 500 games
-become a head coach in the NBA
-become an excellent D-1 basketball coach and builder of young men with integrity
-carry himself at all times with class and dignity

Things we won't see Lon Kruger do:
-act like an ass clown and boo game officials

osu booing was pretty funny with out a ton of gift calls they lose in regulation
