4-6 in the final 10. Won the first 4, lost the last 6.

2008
6-4 in the final 10. This one actually had a couple 3 game win streaks in the last 10.

2009
7-3 in the last 10. Lost 3 of the last 5 because Blake got hurt for a couple games. Had to also go to Columbia, but overall real solid end to the season.

2010
1-9 in the last 10. Lost the last 8 games.

2011
2-8 in the last 9 so far with one to go.

20-30(40%) overall.

Weren't we 1 and done in the Big12 Tourney in 09?

That was a joke losing to the aggies in OKC in the tournament. Should've had a skin to hang and cut the nets down that year in the Big12 tourney.

The last 5 games is a bit misleading because all but one team ends the season with a loss and only one team per conference ends the conference tourney with a loss.

That performance the last ten games of the season is absolutely lousy, though.

I didn't count the conference tourney, just regular season.

I don't think it was.

Ok. State was a good team that advanced to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament in '09.... Normally, it is very tough (and rare) to defeat a good team 3 straight times in one season.

Not saying I wasn't disappointed that OU lost (especially since it went down to the final second), but I wasn't surprised, due to those aforementioned circumstances.

He wears out his starters by playing them way too many minutes during the first half of the season. They have nothing left down the stretch.

:clap:clap

Exactly. I just posted the same thing in the Walk-on thread. Poor Fitz could hardly make it up and down the court last night. He's completely gased.....

This.

That was a good OSU team that was playing really well at the end of the season. We had won 6 games in a row leading up to the season finale in Norman, where we pushed OU to the brink before losing.

It's not really a huge shock that they won that game on a neutral court less than a week later.

That's pathetic.

I don't think we lose that game if we hadn't beaten the Ags just 5 days earlier. That did suck though, along with us being 1-2 all-time in OKC in the B12....

OSU winning that game was a fraud.
The refs gave them game-winning free throws just because, basically.

Yeah... just because Blake hacked James Anderson when he was going up for a rebound.

You know what I think might have cost OU that game? Turning the ball over 19 times while OSU only turned it over 10.

Take care of the ball and you win that game.

Or it could have been the 3 of 19 performance from behind the arc. OU had a massive advantage inside with the Griffin brothers (+10 rebound advantage), and yet they felt the need to jack up 19 three-pointers on a night when they weren't falling. I bet if they throw the ball inside 5 more times and take 5 fewer 3-point shots, they win.

Those had more to do with the loss than the ref calling a rare foul on Blake Griffin.
