It's hard to watch this video and imagine there is a better basketball player in the 2016 class than Lauren. She might be the best player in high school right now regardless of the class.

I have to agree. Players like her seem to pass us by for greener pastures. We got lucky with Llanusa as she's from a whole family of Sooner fans.

I could be wrong but I don't think we spend enough time recruiting in Texas.

I think it comes down to Baylor, OU, and Uconn for Cox... playing AAU with a commit and a few Sooner recruits should work well for OU.

I will be a bit surprised if she goes to UCONN. I think she wants to play close to home. I would say there is a 70% chance she goes to Texas. I think she will consider OU, TCU, perhaps A&M and to a lesser extent Baylor but, the big money is on Texas.

I don't have a twitter but there has been something posted on the timeline of Cox since her unofficial Baylor visit that has a few of there fans expecting her to commit.

I don't think Ortiz is in Lauren's league and I am one who really likes Ortiz. Cox can beat anyone in the country at her position. I don't think Ortiz will be that dominant at the PG position.

If Lauren is serious about wanting to play both volleyball and basketball at the next level, I am putting my money on either Texas or OU. Both have excellent volleyball programs to go with outstanding basketball, and that goes without saying.

I saw pics that she was at TCU last weekend with N Mulkey. Lets just hope she comes to OU. The 2016 and 17 class looks to be special.

If Lauren is serious about wanting to play both volleyball and basketball at the next level, I am putting my money on either Texas or OU. Both have excellent volleyball programs to go with outstanding basketball, and that goes without saying.

Volleyball is one reason I do not think Lauren will go to UCONN where they are not good.

Texas is unbeaten in volleyball and ranked #3 in the country. OU isn't bad as they are ranked #32.

I just hope Lauren remains committed to playing close to home as I agree that means OU is one team she will at least consider.

That's obviously a great strategy for Kim to recruit them together. She can tell the entire group that if you girls will come to Baylor you will be celebrating a national championship together.
