I went to a practice early in the year, and Lon is very laid back, did not raise his voice but was always teaching. We hit a home run with Lon, Sam Grooms is a Grand Slam as well, the reason the team plays better has as much to do with Sam as it does with Lon.

He's definitely not a quote machine and will never make any money as an after dinner speaker but he's a very good basketball coach.
