I'll never understand why we OU fans like to rip our team.
Basketball top 10 team.... rip
Football top 5 team..... rip
I think it's clear that OU has done a great job with a team that is not complete yet. This is still a rebuilding situation.

nobody is ripping them.
And this is not a rebuilding situation. Next year is a rebuilding situation.

This is completely inaccurate. Several posters have unfairly ripped Kruger and a few of the players.

People had dreams of a final four and beyond based on our early season play. It wasn't sustainable and if you really looked the problems people spoke about early on are the ones killing us now.
We are the team we are at this point - doesn't mean we still can't finish strong but it made me shudder all the hype talk on this board before this recent swoon. These losses now don't change the group of kids this team has and that this season will be a great one for the program - just maybe not to the level that people were expecting.
Before everyone jumps off the bandwagon all it takes is a couple of weeks of red hot shooting and we can make some serious noise in March.

Doesn't even have to be red-hot. One or two more threes in each of our past two games, and we'd have won those. We're not that far off.

Agreed. I think seeing the ball go in 1 or 2 more times may be all it takes to get their confidence back. That said, West Virginia has the ability to prey on a team struggling with its confidence. If they get some turnovers and easy points, and maybe we get into some foul trouble, it could really get ugly.

I already gave Lon his much deserved credit for the adjustments both on and off the court. I am fair for the most part but I admit my emotions got the better of me the other night. Nonetheless, we needed to adjust our game plan in response to the perimeter pressure of opposing teams. Lon made the adjustments and we won convincingly on the road against a top 10 team without shooting the ball particularly well.

yep.. i just read it for the laughs.. clowns everywhere when we are doing bad…
used to be a great board a few years ago. all the clowns ran off the good posters….
they know who they are.
