At least this guy has been around and has some skins on the wall. I'll take him over some of the other options any day. I would have gone for Kevin Stallings myself but this will do.

Lon Kruger to Oklahoma is now "all but done", a source close to the UNLV coach told FOXSports.com.

This is good. Vegas is also a hot spot to recruit out of; some of the biggest AAU tournaments play there that can't hurt.

I'm in the two-run double camp. I'm not bubbling over at the idea of hiring Kruger, but I think he could get us back to where we belong, or very close to it, so I can certainly get behind him.

If somebody can't get behind this hire, then I don't know what to say. He is perfect for this situation. Squeaky clean and his teams win.

He would clean up this mess, and get us on the right track before retiring and then we can make a bigger name hire at that point.
