Kruger might not be a "sexy" hire but he has won everywhere he has been and meets the "squeaky clean" criteria. He would be a very safe hire.

He's far from a KState cast off. He left KSU for Florida because UF offered him a huge contract at the time to build their program. In less than 6 years he had them in the Final 4. He handed it off to Donovan and headed to Illinois where he recruited some big time talent.

Kruger is a very good coach. We would be very lucky to get him.

81-47 with four straight NCAA tournament apperances...Then he left for Florida.

With all the rumors flying around now I would prefer Pastner although Kruger Sendek and Stallings would all be good. I know it sounds crazy on Sendek but the guy has taken teams to the NIT or NCAA 15 our of 18 years of coaching. Plus he is only 47. Considering the exp he has and still being 47 its amazing.

Good overview. Kruger won everywhere in College and continues to do so at UNLV. Would be a good hire.

Thanks. I've always been a huge Kruger fan. His teams always gave Tubbs teams huge fits. I think he would be a great choice.
