The only one close that I can remember was the Duke-Kentucky Elite 8 game back in, I think, 1992. Amazing game that ended with that fantastic Laettner finish. He was 10-10 from the floor and 10-10 from the line. Hield was probably even better the other night.

Top 2 basketball games I can remember. It would've easily been #1 if OU had won.

this is the point parshooter is trying to make in his thread. we don't get talked about in the first segments of pti and around the horn if we won in regulation on a free throw. magic ain't tweeting about it if it doesn't go 3. van pelt wouldn't have been gushing for an hour after the game.

nobody wanted that win more than me. but how it played has garnered us the national attention that this program needs. so in a way I agree with parshooter.

The only one I can think of that rivals this one is the 6 overtime game between Syracuse and UConn in the big East tournament a few years ago.
