Was like Jekyll and Hyde. Showed flashes of HUGE potential right before showing just how far he has to go. Big blocks followed by out of position D allowing for an easy shot. And 1 followed by awful execution in the screen and roll. He'll get there ... and will be huge for us down the stretch, but it's going to take a lot of work.

Also, not blaming him. That foot injury really put him behind the eight ball.

Reality is this is who he is right now - you could clearly see it in his JUCO highlight tapes also. Kid has all the talent in the world but he has a while to go to get his game cleaned up.

If we can get him to play solid for 6 minutes at a time and grow a little bit more disciplined each game he can really be a difference maker by the end of the year. We'll be able to really go up against the big boys and have legit athletic size to match theirs.

He sppears to still be playing below his heighth and athletic ability. He does get up very high on some rebounds and every once in a while he comes up with a WOW play, which hopefully is an indicator of his potential.

What I see is a guy improving.

Today I saw him standing tall with his arms up changing shots and causing problems a few times. I did not notice that much in the first few games. He is learning to use his size. I think he is going to be a huge bonus late in the season

4 blocks and 4 boards in 11 minutes. He helps us a lot right now. He makes some mistakes, as any newcomer will (let's face it, the JUCO competition is considerably below the level he's playing now) but he's a legitimate presence on the defensive end and the boards. He'll only get better, too, as he gets more in game shape and gets more coaching.
