Carey Murdock said this morning on the radio that AK's absence from the team during the tourney was related to off the court issues as well as the death of his brother, but did not say what the off court issues were. Said it's likely we have seen the last of AK in a sooner uniform.
I think Murdock may just be making stuff up here. I remember the teams doing chants for AK in the locker room after every tournament game. Highly unlikely if there off the court stuff as well at the exact time of his brother's suicide. Seems suspect, to say the least.

Carey doesn't typically go around making stuff up about OU athletes, or conjuring up false information. He's not James Hale. He is usually pretty in the know about what's going on.
I don't read Murdock's stuff -- I'm not a member on his board -- but I have generally heard from those who do that he is much LESS reliable than Hale. Hale's a bit of a homer and he's not always correct in his projections (who is?), but he doesn't make stuff up.
Needs to go home and be closer to his family at this point.
Tyler Evans has got to be what, like 30?
