Hurting the program? I'm not even a fan of this kid and this fight isn't going to hurt anything. If the football program can survive Mixon hitting a girl in a face...the 12th man on a basketball roster hitting a former football player isn't even going to make a dent. I think Blake Griffin getting in trouble for peeing on the side of the building was bigger than this.
 
I'm not making excuses for him and I trust Coach Kruger (and Boren, if he plays a role) to do the right thing, but I don't for a second believe AK just randomly punched a guy. Not saying he's innocent or that he shouldn't be facing charges or even be kicked out of school, if that's what they decide (or have decided) to do, but an out-of-the-blue punch with no provocation? Not buying that.
 
meh. shoulda been filed as a misdemeanor battery. thats poor discretion on greg's part. thats where politics play against manyang.

Yes he is hurting it by not giving coaches enough time to replace him! Leaving the team for 3 weeks and not being a team guy all season long.. Then doing this crap!

Id punch him too if he said something about my brother.... Wouldnt you?

I dont know that, but you dont know that either... so careful unless youve walked in his shoes.

Not enough time to replace him? We already have 4 post players on this roster without him. We still have available scholarship that they havent used yet.

Did him leaving the team and not being a team guy all along prevent us from going to the final 4? Where did it exactly hurt us? Is he the reason we got killed by Villanova?

He was barely playing. Let's not act like this is Woodard doing this. This is the 10th man or lower on depth chart doing this. He most likely wasn't going to play much next year either with McNease and Lattin ahead of him.

And if we still need a post player, there is a 5 star turkish player that is really close to Kanter that we could recruit.
 
He's hurting the team by getting kicked off and not producing for NEXT SEASON! I doubt we sign a post player at this point that can play at this level over the guys we have. AK would of had a legit shot of playing, but now he just left us another guy short..that's how he hurts us. Going into next season with only 2 Centers on the roster scares me and Lattin is more of a 4 playing the 5 spot.
The timing is just really bad for the coaches, they would of had at least a shot of signing a guy 6-7 weeks ago!
