@BlairKerkhoff: Kansas State announces Marcus Foster and Tre Harris have been dismissed from program. Jevon Thomas will transfer.

I guess we won't have to worry about him having more career days/game-winners against us anymore....unless he ends up on a team on our non-con schedule.

Foster could play. He'll land somewhere... Smu or houston

I know he's a head case or has baggage of some sort but I'd take him. Kid can ball. He'll land somewhere good and blow up in 2016-17.

must be a dirtbag, could have declared for draft

by dismissing him, just adds more on his character

Glad Webber played him just long enough to keep OU from winning the big 12 title. :(

I think the jury is out on him being a great player. He had an ability to absolutely disappear when his team needed him. Good riddance.

We don't need to worry about him appearing at Iowa State, right? He would have to give up a year of eligibility to join a Big 12 school, won't he? Similar to Baker Mayfield?

Doubt it. He's a north texas kid, I believe so I'd expect him to land at a non-Big 12 school down there. Houston and SMU were mentioned earlier. They make sense. Maybe Wichita St if he wants to stay in Kansas for some reason.

As of now... He'll be the most sought after transfer in America.

That may depend on why he is no longer at KSU. Foster's on again off again relationship with Weber seems to suggest that there is more to his string of suspensions than a personality clash.

His on-the-court demeanor left a lot to be desired at times. I saw that with my own eyes. He was obviously unhappy with his role coming off of the bench at times, and it showed. If I was a coach giving him a serious look, I would be concerned about that. I would also dig deeper to find out why he got the boot? A K-State poster ("Sys" I believe) hinted that his three games suspension was drug related.

I have no idea if anything I have posted is accurate? But, on the surface this kid appears to have too much baggage to make him a good transfer risk, unless you're in a position to take a flyer on a high-profile player like him. There is no doubt that Marcus is really good. He's a recruit I wanted coming out of high school when OU was in the mix. The question is he worth it now? I wouldn't want him at OU, that's for sure.

He almost came to OU.

I would have welcomed him with open arms back then. And, who knows, things might have turned out different for him if he had come to OU? Kids have a way of becoming a product of their environment if they fall in with the wrong crowd. That may not be the case with Marcus, but it's certainly a possibility.

Either way, I wish him the best and hope he gets his act together soon. He's too talented to throw it all away by making poor decisions.

I think Foster will be immediately eligible under the run off rule. If it does that should mean he is a fairly hot commodity.

I don't think that's a thing anymore. DGB ruling was NCAA admitting that was a mistake.
