So do you guys think Joe C has had a candidate in mind all along and they are just waiting for things to play out or is Joe C. just reacting now?

You have to take almost any report right now good or bad with a grain of salt. Joe runs a tight ship when searching for a coach and not much news comes out of his camp. Hopefully things might pick up some steam in terms of some news before the end of next week. Remember alot of coaches and ADs will be in Houston for the Final 4. Lots of rumors/news will be out there.

No, I could just be out of YOUR mind. Kruger has leveled off as a coach. Was has he really done lately? Jones can out recruit him and his teams seem to play faster.

Please enlighten us as to how much more accomplished the other candidates are from OU's list?

Exactly. Lon is a heck of a coach. He's won everywhere he's been.

He won at Texas Pan American, elite 8 at KSU, final 4 at Florida (when he took over at UF it was the worst program in the SEC), built Illinois before handing it to Self (Selfs first team was an elite 8 team and they were all Kruger recruits), and a sweet 16 at UNLV.
