Maui Invitational, how do you think OU will do?

I voted 6th, but it depends on the bracket. I think the best we can do is 4th, but that requires a bit of underachieving from some of the other teams there. I honestly would feel really good moving forward if we just play some tough games and stick it out.

7th is probably the safe vote. That would be losing 2 games and winning one against Chaminade like we did 4 years ago, Capel's first year here. That is what I think this team will be like.

Been thinking about the scenarios for this and I think 5th would be the best case given the make up of the team. That would mean losing the first round game but battling back and winning both games in the consolation bracket. That way we would leave the tournament with 2 wins and it is possible they could come against decent opponents as well. Lets say we get matched up with Kentucky in the first round and we lose that game. In the first consolation we then play Wichita St (quality mid major) and get the win over them. Then in the 5th place game the opponent is Virgina and we then defeat another BCS conference foe. Barring a somewhat miraculous run in the winners bracket I think this is the optimistic approach to this tournament.

Didn't realize I was signing up for a board of Oscar Wilde and Marx brothers disciples, I think I left my keen wit and sense of humor in another life. haha

Btw thanks for the support from my new best friends Scrybe and Ed Sooner, it's tough to be an iconoclast good to know my attempt at humor wasn't totally misunderstood. And for the rest of you guys, oh well, I'm sure you'll pick it up soon enough, when in Rome you know?
