You have to think that the coaches had an idea.

I look forward to more CJ Washingtons, Casey Arent, Robert Goffs, Robert Allen, Sam Grooms, DJ Bennetts.
They make us so much better.
Sam grooms did make us better. And p.s. you boy capel was recruiting him too. Had he stayed he probably goes to UNC. CJ Washington Capel Recruit. Robert Goff, Caple Recruit, DJ Bennett, how bout we let him suit up for a game first. So all you have is Casey Arent who was signed to give us a body for practice When Kruger had about 2 weeks to recruit after the mess Capel left us in.
Hey Max...I know that CJ and Goff were Capels recruit...catch up. I'm tired of the juco route. Prep school is the new juco.
Do we have people following the coaches every footstep looking to see where they are recruiting? The JUCO Tournament draws lots of coaches and scouts. The Coaches were also at state tournaments all over the region. Personally I want them looking at as many players as possible and then getting who they feel are the best players that fit their schemes. If that is a talented JUCO so be it. Maybe they were there and didn't see anything. No one outside the staff knows right now.
I'm tired of the leftovers...Thats what we have been getting lately.
You guys can call them late bloomers...I call them leftovers. They can be good...but we need guys that other top 25 programs want.

Oh.
You mean like Hield? And Hornbeak? And Spangler? Cam had plenty of offers as well.
It takes time to rebuild a program. Your boy Capel left us as a program that didn't have much to offer. Kruger is changing that. Not in time to impact recruiting this year so much, but with the 2014 and 2015 classes, you should see it.
Not to nitpick, but Spangler doesn't belong in that list. At least, as far as the point you're trying to make. He had offers from Gonzaga, Colorado, TCU, and Tulsa and wasn't ranked nationally.
If Gonzaga offers a kid, and then Lon Kruger thinks he is good enough to take him as a transfer that is likely to start for three years at OU, I think he belongs.
After seeing all these kids that weren't highly recruited tear it up for smaller schools, I'd think OU fans would forget about top 50 recruits a little bit.
OSU with their Nash's and Smart's just had a season that was almost identical to ours.

I know his HS school coach, and he had told me he had around 38 offers, so I think you are missing a few

That's weird that every major recruiting site would be off by 34 offers.
