M'Baye used transfer season to improve

I cannot wait to see him play. After sitting out of real games for a year, there will likely be some early season rust. But even so, M’Baye has experienced D-1 basketball, so the early season rust may not last long.

This is the third year in a row that OU has had an incoming D-I power forward transfer:

2010-11 ... Romero Osby ... 6-8, 232 Forward ... Meridian, MS / Mississippi State
2011-12 ... Amath M’Baye ... 6-9, 214 Forward ... Paris France / Semi Valley, CA / Wyoming
2012-13 ... Ryan Spangler ... 6-8, 232 Forward ... Bridge Creek, OK / Gonzaga

This is an interesting trend, as more and more players around the country decide to transfer.

He'd be a big help, I know that we struggled in conference, but I thought we were generally competitive. I think that CLK could have played more towards the talent he had, but based on a few things I saw he was committed to keeping in line with what he wants to do long term at OU. I feel really good about this season being a turning point for the program.
