Looked like the guy I saw in the wyoming highlight video tonight. Much like Osby last year, I think he is finally feeling comfortable out there.

I was thinking the same thing in the game.

In fact, his play so far this year has reminded me a lot of Osby's last year and if he plays next year like Osby is playing this year then we will be much better than some think. He's really come along.

Huge part of this big W. He played like a future 1st round pick. "If " this is his new normal the ceiling will have to be raised for this years team and likely next years also.

Times three.

I've been semi-expecting (well... hoping) that it would be the case. It seems to be the norm for transfers, for whatever reason, that the initial live-game adjustment period is awkward, and then when comfort becomes the norm, the player they are emerges.

We saw it in Ro towards the end of last year, we're starting to see it in Amath now.

....looking ahead.... nobody better overreact if Spangler starts slow next season.

I agree, Mc, but I think we almost always fail to factor in the fact that transfers normally go at least a full year without actually playing basketball. And not just that, they are also having to become acclimated to an entirely new system, new teammates, coaches, etc.

It's really quite funny to go back and read some of the comments that were made on this board about Mr. M'Baye when he failed to put up All American-type numbers at the start of the season.
