Apparently KU CANNOT have ALL the shiny things!!
Yeah, he will be in New York City. It will take a lot of money to match Oklahoma in the Big Apple.Sounds like SJ folks think he’s theirs…
I hope he factors the higher cost of living plus the fact he will be moving to QueensYeah, he will be in New York City. It will take a lot of money to match Oklahoma in the Big Apple.
Come on Reyna, tell your dad to let Aaron come play in Oklahoma. Where the money goes farther than New York.Oops. Things change so fast, at times.
Sounds like St John's pushed the money up to a level OU isn't wanting to match. Pending officialness, I guess.
Yeah, I don't want to sound like a typical butthurt fan post-recruiting loss but you can find another SF. Shouldn't be too hard.
Assuming this STJ/Scott news is true.
Godfrey/Jones is a much better combo than Scott/big. As some have said before, Scott is mostly a 4. I think I’m just getting too excited about the possibility of Godfrey/Moore playing 20 minutes alongside each other.I'm NOT sweating losing out on Scott....I would 100% rather have Godfrey in the boat. No questions asked...he provides more of what we need.
We are moving to a system where teams like KU will value transfer players who are proven over HS recruits. Why wait for a kid to develop when you can get an immediate starter out of the portal? The bluebloods can just buy the best players on the open market instead of waiting 2 years for most players to become a great player.Apparently KU CANNOT have ALL the shiny things!!
Like clockwork. Why does it bother you so much that others are excited? I can respect your opinions most of the time even though I don't agree because you put thought and effort into them. But these types of joy sucking posts are unbearable. So people are already getting excited over the Kentucky kid even though there is nothing to go on, beyond the fact he considered us in the past?
Moving? We're there. We are moving to a system where teams like KU will value transfer players who are proven over HS recruits.
The whole system is broken.
yep, the break away from the NCAA cannot come soon enough with new governance because this is not a sustainable systemMoving? We're there.
You mean a kid who will have free housing should worry about the higher cost of living? Lolol!I hope he factors the higher cost of living plus the fact he will be moving to Queens
Yes. Is this really a serious question? You mean a kid who will have free housing should worry about the higher cost of living? Lolol!
A college student who has all his bills paid and makes 5-10 times as much as I do will have no problem whatsoever with the cost of living in NYC.Yes. Is this really a serious question?
Actually they can. Sounds like he may have been processed for a transfer.Apparently KU CANNOT have ALL the shiny things!!

Prediction: Foggy.
Trilly Donovan, on 4/22, said OU is out, and that it's down to Ole Miss (visited 4/23) & Oklahoma State, but the OU coaches are still trying/fighting. On 4/23, Coach Humphrey followed Sean on X. @ouandy said there's a possible coaches' visit happening Wednesday (today) - 4/24.

Prediction: St John's
By now, thanks to a tip (credit to JCjr), everyone knows that Aaron is the brother of OU WBB's Liz Scott. On Tuesday morning (4/23), the common thought was Aaron was heading to OU. Done deal. Not so fast, my friend(s). Later in the day (yesterday), St. John's, according to Trilly Donovan, threw one last hail mary (MORE MONEY ADDED) and now, unless things change again, he's expected to head to NYC to play for Slick Rick (Pitino).

Others in the running: Rutgers, Butler, & ?
Commitment date: Unknown
Prediction: Unclear (but if the visit happens, I lean to OU)
Visited Rutgers and I kind of figured, at that time, Scott would head to Oklahoma and Jadon would end up at Rutgers (or elsewhere) but things change daily. Now, as seen above, it sounds like Scott will head closer to Piscataway (NYC is close, lol) and Jadon will head to Oklahoma, in my opinion. It makes a lot of sense. Jadon is an excellent defender with above decent offensive skills. Would likely be OU's starting 3G/F.

To be honest, the visit snuck up on most of us (some knew a little ahead of time - the night before). I'm catching up a bit, lol. Unless he liked what he heard/saw during his Norman visit, he's expected to head to Blacksburg, VA (VA Tech) on Thursday, according to the Portal Report. Auburn is also working to set up a visit with RJ (as seen in the pic below).

Others in the running: Texas, Arkansas (maybe), Xavier, & a return to Oklahoma State

Prediction: Return to Oklahoma State
Trying to predict what Garrison ends up doing is not an easy proposition on 4/24 but I think the kid ends up back at OSU. The whole time it's felt like a kid who bleeds orange but wanted to "feel the love". The follows scream Texas though but it's hard to know if it's legit interest or just a kid who enjoyed his UT visit. How much would Pedulla swinging back OU's way change things with Garrison? TBD, if it happens.
Other targets (developing/possible): C Ugonna Onyenso (Kentucky) & PG Dallin Hall (BYU)
I mean, it's okay... (lol)Phenomenal work
That and States making Universities eligible to pay players in general. That should help.yep, the break away from the NCAA cannot come soon enough with new governance because this is not a sustainable system
