To be clear I would agree it’s too early to make a call, just that I don’t find arguments that NIL is singularly unique to prior big concerns compelling. Some like you are obviously are put off by it, that’s your prerogative as a consumer. Many are clearly not and right now viewership & anecdotal experience seem to be largely agnostic.Still early for data analysis.
My guess is that the thunder are going to become even more popular than college hoops in Oklahoma. Especially now that htey are good again.
And honestly, I'm sadly starting to lean that way too. Why watch a poorly constructed team of paid players when I can watch a more talented team? Just because OU is on the jersey? That OU on the jersey means nothing to most of these kids now. Definitely less than the OU on the check deposit
Ha I imagine you could monetize/package a service like this for smaller schools, help facilitate transfer process. At this point, go to each conference, print off the list of names in the portal that made their conf teams...contact...Boom, I am an assistant GM.

(MAAC for reference)
Yeah, I don’t think we should get our hopes up.A new follow from Godfrey Jr. on his OU visit!!!
... Chris Ogden, UT assistant.
Not true.Pedulla's NIL number per Trilly

If true, I wouldn't have matched that bullchit either.
Pedulla Trillied to Ole Miss. But I was told and ridiculed by an expert on here that OU was the favorite, even as the tied had already turned in everyone's mind but his own.
Whats the number then?Not true.
Enlighten us, oh wise one.Not true.
If Pedulla is getting 850k… we’re cooked. He’s a good guard, not great by any means. From my understanding that would be around 1/3 of our total NIL for the whole team.
South of Nigel Pack’s 2 year deal which was outrageous.Whats the number then?
Ick. That lineup might struggle to average 60 ppg.
Cisse on campus at OSU yesterday. They’re gonna bring him back. We can still get Garrison just do your job Porter.
At the risk of this actually manifesting another convo on it, i did happen to research the other day the states with cheapest COLs.It depends, what is the cost of living at Ole Miss compared to OU? (let's debate ... ) *sarcasm font*
I wouldn’t have a clue.What’s his NIL cost?
He’s entitled though. He doesn’t have the wherewithal or a plan like a Kelvin or Kruger. Those guys would be on the golf course hustling up funds.Porter Moser is not lazy. I’m sure he is working his tail off. The dude is just in over his head.
Let’s keep perspective here.
Can't he only play at Oklahoma state or Memphis based on academics?I wouldn’t have a clue.
You know I would have never thought he was entitled before the awful press conference after missing the tournament. He’s entitled though. He doesn’t have the wherewithal or a plan like a Kelvin or Kruger. Those guys would be on the golf course hustling up funds.
I'm with you, Pedulla, Scott, Garrison, etc. were worthwhile targets, but there has to be a pivot.
He’s from the Chicago Gold Coast. Comes from money. That’s all good, but you have to have some hustle in you from a fundraising standpoint in this situation. You know I would have never thought he was entitled before the awful press conference after missing the tournament.
