Moser/OU had no chance with Garrison coming out of high school. No need to waste money/resources with a player you’re not gonna get. Moser actually played it smart and didn’t have sour grapes. That’s why you don’t “bash” a kid when you lose out on a recruit the first time, nowadays you might get a second chance with the kid, and OU still has a chance to get Garrison the second time around.

Kentucky is well aware of what they are getting. They aren’t recruiting him based on stats, sight unseen. And I’m sure they think they’ll be able to improve his handles and shot. If not, then they will probably use him as a defensive stopper and energy guy.

Kentucky needs players....they are happy to get him as a depth peace. Pope saw him up close so he knows what he's getting.
