I think it would be silly not to utilize AI for writing. It should be augmenting your work rather than being a substitute for it, though.

I kind of wish we could turn this site into the official Hoops spot...with real coverage. I mean, hell, why not. We have an insider or two, we have several data dorks (kidding, obv), we have whatever the fucc I am....we have more views than OUI's thread (not bragging, just saying). Bring Lusk here. Figure out a plan of action, boom, real, quality OU Hoops coverage.

I mean, I’d say someone who aspires to a career in journalism or broadcasting should be able to both track down stories and write. And it’s not like there is a lot of news to track down anyway on game nights. Sportswriters have been watching games and then writing recaps on it for decades. Dude could easily write a short paragraph himself on the 7 or 8 guys who play in a given game if he wants to grade them. That’s already an easier way of writing about a game than doing an actual recap.

I love good sportswriters and have since I was a kid. And I’m spoiled that the beat writer for WSU is really good. He is basically a one-man local sports department, yet still produces really detailed recaps and analysis of WSU games.
 
why not make this the go to spot for hoops info? @StoopsBros you say you wish you could do it why not just do it? if you can’t say publicly I’d like to know in the DM’s

I argue the speed and the proliferation of information on social media necessitates the use of AI to some degree if you are going to be competitive, as the first story is often the most read story.

I'd be happy about that.. add a average big and it only gets better. At this point, I'd rather have Richmond than any other big out there I think.

I know Langston's really good right now, and they have an excellent coach, but it's still odd to see a kid who has played pretty good ball in the D1 ranks jump down a level. Even with their recent success(es), I doubt Langston has much NIL to speak of. Okay, then...not important but caught my eye.
