I'd like to believe the guy that says they aren't getting Richmond at this point. Lol
At face value, I would trust a guy with a 'skeestress' handle rather than a 'NYFREAKS' handle.
You think Bama getting Cliff might get them more in on Ugonna?Haven’t been able to get much other than that they put it all out there. Going to be tough but have a shot.
Level up or complimentary piece + impact big.I think the Richmond pursuit will end in disappointment. I’d love to be wrong because he would be by far the best portal player we’ve ever gotten and would actually give us a chance to be a tournament team, but it just seems like such a long shot given all the bad news of the past three years. If we miss on him, it’s critical to find someone who is a level up from Miles.
360 is done.Once the On3 writers stop their updates/pieces on Softball series and Lusk writes an article by himself (his Richmond article was soooo hard to read bc of the AI, it was awful) ... I am sure we will find out something?
Again, it's not like it is the top-ranked portal entry guard that would be a massive shot in the arm for the #2 revenue generator for a program or anything...lololololol
Also, random, but is Sooners360 a thing still?
Trying to do local coverage in a platform like the internet costs too much money. I wouldn't be shocked to see the one with Trammel go under soon.360 is done.
My self-prediction was right. Respect to them for going through with it and giving it a try but it was doomed from the beginning. Which is why I bowed out. Too many guys to start with, very little creativity, nothing to sell.
Really not the place for this but I don't care. Eh, there's not much else to post right now.Trying to do local coverage in a platform like the internet costs too much money. I wouldn't be shocked to see the one with Trammel go under soon.
What will happen to Saptown Sooner, Sooner55, and Chris Mason? Are they coming back to mainstream sites as posters?360 is done.

You already limit your audience by having it be local people. I think the only way it works is if it's maybe involved with the Sports Animal or other Sports radio to subplement that content with podcasts and local stories that you would promote on the radio.Really not the place for this but I don't care. The startup costs can be minimal if you're not trying to cover the team(s) officially to start. I'm talking boots on the ground in Norman or to travel/cover recruiting. Save that for if/when you grow enough. Less than $10K can get the job done...you can get a good starter site built for $3-6K...with a forum (like Xenforo) and a place to host articles, videos, etc (front page/drop down menus/etc).
But then what? And that's the overall point. Most sites, compared with Scoop (largest site obv), aren't offering anything overly unique or different.
Barry, who we should all respect for his entire body of work (doesn't mean people have to like him or agree with him), left a dying median (newspapers), to form basically the same chit but, you know, with a podcast attached. It doesn't sell. Bob Stoops is/was the only needle mover. I do like Sam Mayes but not enough to set my schedule to listen/read.
